Rectory Park Football Fund Launched
Middlesex FA is delighted to announce the launch of the Rectory Park Football Fund, a brand-new funding initiative available to the local grassroots football community.
Off the back of the County FA moving to our wonderful Rectory Park headquarters, and in line with the launch of the new National Game Strategy, there are now new opportunities to benefit the wider football community within Middlesex.
One area that has been highlighted as needing help is sustaining the adult game. This is what the Rectory Park Football Fund is for.
The funding available is aimed at helping the 900-plus players across the county stay in the game; specifically for clubs that have previously been ineligible for either Grow the Game or Retain the Game funding.
Craig Nicholson, Football Development Officer at Middlesex FA, said: “We have been listening to our clubs who haven’t been eligible for other funding. With our move to Rectory Park, we have launched this fund to specifically help the adult game within our county.”
Who can apply?
The following groups may apply for the Rectory Park Football Fund:
- Any adult team (male or female) playing in an adult league
- Charter Standard clubs or those working towards accreditation
- Clubs who haven’t received other forms of FA funding, such as Grow the Game or Retain the Game.
