Congratulations to Hampton Rangers Juniors - our latest Accredited Club of the Month winners!

Middlesex FA is proud to announce that Hampton Rangers Juniors have been named as its England Football Accredited Club of the Month for October 2024.

Hampton Rangers Juniors are a Two Star England Football Accredited Club with 13 affiliated teams and more than 300 players ranging from Under 8s to Under 17s. The club also run weekly Walking Football sessions, engages in The Wildcats programme and are working on growing their Disability provision.

Hampton Rangers Juniors were established in 1969 by PC Rice and Denis Chaplin. Over the last 50 years their legacy has lived on through the youth football they provide at Hampton Rangers. Their aim was to provide a welcoming and safe place for the children in and around the local community to go and throughout the years they have built on their aim leading us to where they are today.

As we enter the England Football Accreditation renewal process for the 2024/25 season, Middlesex FA Coach Development Officer Paul Sharpe commented: “The club are in a great position to retain their Two Star status as they work on refreshing their Club Development Plan and continue to grow the offer across their Playing Pathways.  All the clubs’ teams currently meet the coaching criteria of a coach holding the minimum of a FA Introduction to Coaching Football Course qualification.”

The club have their own 3G training facility in Oldfield Road which has a small 11 a side, 2 x 9 aside pitches, 2 x 7 a side pitches, 4 x 5 a side pitches and a 5 a side cage. They pride themselves on the community feel that the club provides and welcomes everyone to come along. They recently raised funds which were used to build a new clubhouse at their training ground which will be used not only by club members but also the local community.

Speaking to Club Secretary, Hayleigh Cowell on what being Accredited means to their club, she said: “It means a lot to us, it is something that we worked hard to achieve and something we continue to work hard to maintain. Being Accredited helps to reassure parents and participants that we have high standards and are meeting the criteria. It means that we are upholding the highest standard possible to make sure the children are safe, looked after and cared for and are in a safe and welcoming environment. This is something that we always promote when advertise our club.”

Congratulations to Hampton Rangers Juniors, from everybody at Middlesex FA!
