Old Actonians Youth named Accredited Club of the Month - January 2024
Middlesex FA is proud to announce that Old Actonians Youth were named as its England Football Accredited Club of the Month for January 2024.
The club were formed by a group of parents in the summer of 2006 where they wanted to have qualified independent coaches instead of using parents as coaches. The club have recently had success with their biggest growth of players since covid and now operate with 11 teams from Under 7 to Under 17.
The club take pride in fostering a culture that offers football opportunities for everyone in the local community. They never turn away any player and look to proactively establish new teams to accommodate individuals, ensuring they play football at a level that aligns with their abilities.
Speaking to Head Coach, Carl Simon, when asked on what impact the club has on people, players and the local community, he commented: “We create a secure and inclusive space, fostering a friendly social environment for both players and parents. Our aim is to ensure that all members experience positive social well-being within our community.”
With almost two decades of dedicated service to the local community, the club are looking to expand and have a positive impact on current and future generations that are involved with the club.
