Regional Grants Workshop - 18th January
Accessing funding to improve facilities and increase revenue.
Amateur FA, London FA, Middlesex FA & Surrey FA have teamed up to deliver a facilities workshop, which will look at what funding can be accessed to improve the facilities at your club, and how as an organisation you can increase revenue.
Workshop Outcomes:
- Grass pitches- Gaining access to improvement funding
- Small grants – Eligible items
- Increase revenue – Improve your pavilion, engage different community groups & multi-sport

Entries now open for WNST funding
The Wembley National Stadium Stadium Trust grants programmes are now open for application.
Their priority is to direct funding towards clubs and groups based in LB Brent and providing community sports activities for local residents.
FA Introduction to Coaching Football Course Fully Funded Places
Applications for fully-funded places on Introduction to Coaching Football are open until 16 January 2023.
To support football truly being a game for all, we are offering 20% of all places across our grassroots course provision as fully-funded.
We have worked with a number of organisations to develop the criteria for learner applications that gives consideration to:
- Current means
- Socio-economic background
- Other relevant factors such as lived experience in care and disability.
Why Our Players Play – Monday 6th February 2023
Join Lee Brown (Coach Development Officer), Debbie Barry (Regional PE Officer), Chris Lowe (Regional PE Officer) and Nathan Baker (Coach Mentor D&I) on Monday 6th February 2023 (7.30pm start) as they share their expertise and insight on our live webinar, 'Why Our Players Play.’
They will reflect on and discuss a variety of ways to support player development and how you can bring these ideas into your own environment. They will cover:
- Research and stories of why players play
- Relevant practice design to help players become more skilful and develop social skills
- The role of the coach and the impact this has on players
Renew your England Football Accreditation!
The Club Portal is now open for Accredited clubs to renew their England Football Accreditation status and continue to benefit from the rewards associated with being an Accredited Club.
To start this process, please visit the Dashboard of your Club Portal where you can find your Accreditation checklist and identify the actions that you will need to complete in order to Submit for Renewal via the Club Portal.

Middlesex FA - Coach Development Offer
As part of our Coach Development Offer for the 2022/23 season, we are committed to supporting our Coaches & Clubs to provide learning opportunities and resources that will support the development of more skilful players, more inspirational opportunities and develop more transformational coaches.
