Middlesex FA and Amateur FA Discipline Roadshow
We are making participants aware of updated disciplinary guidance and the opportunity to attend our upcoming online Discipline Roadshow.
As preparations continue to usher in the start of the 2022/23 season, The FA have released an updated ‘Grassroots Disciplinary Guide’. This has been prepared to provide helpful guidance to clubs and participants on the disciplinary procedures within football administered by County FAs for the upcoming campaign.
It covers match-based discipline, regulation changes, hearings, and the appeals process, and demonstrates how the FA Whole Game System can assist clubs and leagues with their day-to-day administration. The guide can be accessed here or below.
To complement this online document, The FA’s ‘County FA Disciplinary Sanction Guidelines’ have also been updated. The aim of this publication is to provide guidance on the types of sanctions a disciplinary commission can impose, whilst also covering key topics such as education sanctions, ground bans and mitigating/aggravating factors. This is also available here or below.
Meanwhile, The FA, Middlesex FA and the Amateur FA would also like to invite participants to attend our Discipline Roadshow on Tuesday 9th August 2022, commencing at 7pm, online through Microsoft Teams. This event is open to club and league committee members and match officials, and it’s anticipated that it will last approximately 90-120 minutes. The topics which will be covered include:
- Match Official Abuse (including regulations)
- Aggravated Misconduct/Discrimination
- Reporting Processes
- E20 Abandonment Procedure(s)
- Regional Discipline Panels
- Performance/Case Load
- Order of Precedence
- The Matchday Environment
If you would like to attend, please complete this short registration form. This will enable us to provide updates on any changes to the event and to send any relevant discipline or event-related information.
There is space on the form to ask any questions about the above topics, or any other discipline-related queries, in advance. Questions should not be specific to cases, to protect the participants and processes. Once the registration form has been completed, an email will be sent to all particpants during the week leading up to the event, this will include a joining link for the meeting.
Roadshows have been offered to every County FA and, if this date isn’t convenient, please E-Mail discipline@middlesexfa.com or discipline@amateur-fa.com to receive details of other events. This is a great opportunity to meet our Football Services Team and the FA Grassroots Discipline Department.
