MIDDLESEX UNDER 16 TEAM TO HOST JERSEY FA

Our Under 16 players will conclude their South East Counties Youth Championship group fixtures on Sunday next, 2^nd February 2020, with a home game at Rectory Park, against their Jersey FA counterparts.

We are in Group A and this is our third match. In our previous group matches this season we lost 0-4 to the Amateur Football Alliance and then beat London 4-3, both at home. In the only other game played in our group so far, London beat Jersey 1-0.

So the group table currently reads as follows:-

It looks as though the eventual winners of our group will play either Kent or Sussex, from Group B, in the final. At the moment, Kent have won both of their matches and have a goal difference of +11 and Sussex have played only 1 match, which they won 2-0. Kent will host Sussex in their final match, the date of which is to be rearranged, following a postponement last week. Essex have a victory and a defeat from their 2 games, while Guernsey have completed their fixtures, with 3 defeats and a goal difference of -15.

This will be our first ever match against Jersey in this competition.
